Affiliate Disclosure

Oak Cliff Design is a reader-supported publication. This page explains how.

The short version

When you click a link on this site and buy something, we may earn a small commission. The price you pay is the same either way — the retailer pays us out of their margin, not yours.

The longer version

We participate in several affiliate programs, including but not limited to:

  • Amazon Associates — As an Amazon Associate, Oak Cliff Design earns from qualifying purchases.
  • ShareASale — host of many of the mid-century brands we cover
  • Impact, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten Advertising — for major retailers like Target, Walmart, West Elm, Pottery Barn, and others.

Every post that includes affiliate links contains a disclosure box at the top or bottom. Every product card in our roundups is a tracked affiliate link.

What commissions don’t do

  • They don’t change what we recommend. We rank products by what we’d buy; the commission is a distant second consideration at most.
  • They don’t unlock editorial access. No brand can pay to be reviewed favorably, appear in a roundup, or get coverage on this site.
  • They don’t replace our testing. We buy at retail and review what we buy.
